About us

Church Vision

(as agreed at the Annual Church Meeting on 28 April 2002)

Our hopes:

1. For church people to grow in faith and understanding by:

• developing worship
• having occasional short courses of 'exploring faith'
• exploring what 'church' means for people aged 0 to 50-ish

2. To support work with older people by:

• encouraging the existing groups meeting at chapel
• visiting people - initially those associated with our church
• sharing with St Mark's in the monthly midweek service at Fox House

3. To support work with children and young people by:

• encouraging the Sunday School and Friday evening activities
• exploring with St Mark's and the Community Association the   possibility of 'detached youth work' (i.e. not church-based)
• exploring the possibility with St Mark's of worship and faith exploration for older teenagers
